The Rose Garden at Central Park is located in Central Park at 500 Iroquois Way, Schenectady, NY 12305 in the Capital District.

From Rose Garden Restoration: "Join us for a walk through the garden, passing by over 300 rose varieties and 4,000 bushes, including grandiflora, shrub, floribunda and hybrid tea roses in a myriad of hues.

"The rose garden was one of eight AARS (All-America Rose Selection) accredited public rose gardens in New York State. The rose garden is one of only eight gardens in the northern climate zone that participated in a trial of Earthkind™ roses which are designed to grow with little or no watering, fertilizing, or pesticide application.

"As you continue your walk, note the new entry staircase and gatehouse completed in 2009. In the center of the Rose Garden is a spectacular fountain constructed in the spring of 2011. The spring pond, in the northwest corner of the garden, was rebuilt in the summer of 2008 and designed to incorporate a perennial flower bed which surrounds the water feature. The sound of flowing water beckons visitors to stop and enjoy this area."
