Academy Park, a community park, is located at Elk & Eagle Streets in downtown Albany, NY 12207 in Albany County. The memorial statue is located on the lawn of the Academy Federal style brownstone building erected in the early 19th century. In 1971 the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
