The Ossining Public Library is located at 53 Croton Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562. The Ossining Public Library is 47,000 sq. feet. The library is a “green” building, powered by geothermal energy, and landscaped with drought and pest-resistant native plants. The library construction is following the U.S. Green Buildings Council’s procedures for accreditation as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building. It will be only the second LEED building in Westchester.
