Kinder Farm, offering horseback riding lessons, and horse and pony boarding, is located at 15 Pin Oak Drive, Kinderhook, NY 12106 in Columbia County. From Kinder Farm: "Kinder Farm is a family run horse and pony boarding facility. Numerous hours were spent in the layout and design of the facility to assure a safe, horse friendly environment for both horse and rider. "Kinder Farm has a unique layout. Each 12'x12' stall has an independent sacrifice pasture attached, to encourage movement and improve joint health. Horses are turned out individually or in pairs during the day or evening, and return to have their own separate area in which to eat and relax. We believe horses should "graze" continuously, so when grass is not available, we feed hay every 4 hours. Grain is provided twice daily and there are 2 water options in each stall.
"The farm offers a 60'x 140' indoor arena, 100'x200' outdoor arena, 60'round pen, grass pasture and perimeter for your riding enjoyment. We are currently working to expand trail riding options for boarder's enjoyment."
